The purpose of the Hall-of Fame is to provide a lasting honor and recognition fot those living or deceased who have contributed to the game of bowling within the area served by the Dover - New Philadelphia Men's and Women's Bowling Association, State of Ohio.
To recognize that contributions to the game of bowling in a way of dedication or promotion, as well as by athletic achievement, may be considered for selection to the Hall-of Fame
1.The nominee shall have been a resident in the area served for a minimum of 10 years 2.Candidates for consideration shall have individually performed through bowling ability, promotion, or other outstanding contributions to the game of bowling for at least 10 years.
The privilege of submitting nominations for election to the Bowlers Hall-of-Fame is the right of all members of the Dover - New Philadelphia Men's and Women's Bowling Association and the Dover - New Philadelphia bowling proprietors or managers.

The Hall-of-Fame banquet committee is doing their best to meet the needs of our bowlers. Suggestions on locations and dates to hold the banquet will be taken into consideration. The committee strives to provide the best menu for the price with adequate accomadations.
The 45th Annual Banquet was held April 23, 2011 at the Manor Restaurant in Strasburg. Two women were inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Ginny Paris has been bowling for more than 30 years. She started on the Tuesday Night Women at Kinser Lanes and is currently bowling on the Tuesday Night Women at Boulevard Lanes. Ginny has participated in each event of the City Tournament since 1989-90.She has participated in State and Inter-City tournaments also. She has bowled in each house inseveral leagues and held various offices. Congratulations to Ginny for her induction into the Dover - New Philadelphia Bowling Hall of Fame.
Carol Bower started bowling when she moved into the area in 1978. She has bowled in the Ladies Class "A", Hub-Victor Classics, Monday Night Wome, Haas Body Shop Ladies, and Seniors League (to name a few). She has held offices in several league and sponsored the East Side Drive Thru League for the past 3 years.
Carol has held the office of Vice President and Director on the local Women's Association Board. She has participated in the local City tournaments,
Inter-City, Nationals and over 20 State tournaments.Congratulations to Carol Bower for her induction into the Dover - New Philadelphia Bowling Hall-of Fame.
